Mr. Jerry Craig Estes, Jr., 48, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in Louisville. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 and from 8 a.m. until noon on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Childs, Rev. Bobby Joe Butler, and Mike Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Craig was born November 11, 1961 to Jerry and Ilene Fuller Estes. Being a Louisville native, he was a graduate of Louisville High School, and he attended East Central Community College. Craig was retired from the Louisville Electric System where he was employed for 27 years; and he was a member of First United Methodist Church. Craig is survived by a daughter, Hope Estes of Jackson; a son, Brett Estes; and his parents, Jerry and Ilene Estes all of Louisville; a sister, Cherie (Jim) Bell and two nephews, Brandon and Logan Bell of Caledonia, Mississippi. Pallbearers will be Steve Ball, Hal Estes, Joey Estes, Patrick Estes, Ronnie Flake, Carl Flake, Danny Fuller, and Keith Ming. Honorary pallbearers are the 2008-2009 Winston Academy senior football players. Memorials may be sent to Palmer Home or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS is handling the arrangements.
