Gracie Mae Kelley, 93, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. until service time with Rev. Robert Null and Rev. Tom Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in Hight Assembly of God Church Cemetery. Gracie was born September 19, 1923, to John Newton and Lessie Mae Robinson Duran. She worked for Noxapater High School in the cafeteria; and was a member of Hight Assembly of God Church of Noxapater, Mississippi; and she loved attending and being a part of the New Beginnings. Gracie is survived by her daughters, Judy Sloan and husband, James, of Louisville; Peggy Yates and husband, Earl, of Noxapater; and Shirley Eaves and husband, Paul, also of Louisville; her son, L. D. Kelley, Jr., and wife, Bettie, also of Noxapater. She also leaves behind her sisters, Nan Baysinger, and Mary Kugle; her brothers: William Duran, Howard Duran, and Ralph Duran and wife, Murle. One of her greatest joys was being “MawMaw” to her eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L. D. Kelley, Sr.; her sister, Lennie Ree Ballard; brothers Bob, Homer, Horace, Lewis, and Frank Duran; and her great-grandson, Kelley Payton Mills. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Eaves, Stephen McCulloch, Jason Ross, A. J. Sloan, Blake Wells, and Brent Wells. Memorial contributions in honor of Ms. Kelley may be given to Hight Assembly of God Church, 105 Hight Moore Road, Noxapater, MS 39346 Services are under the direction of Nowell Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
