Juanita White

December 3, 1938 - May 28, 2018

Juanita White, 79, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2918, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Antoine Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi. Juanita was born on December 3, 1938, to Gail and Lila Quinn Yarbrough. She was a very active member of First Pentecostal Church of Noxapater where she served her church and others as Jesus taught. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. Juanita is survived by her son, Randy White and wife, Anita, of Sturgis, Mississippi. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Cassey Wells and Bay White; as well as, two great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Kayla Brooke Wells. Juanita leaves behind two sisters, Shirley Holton and husband, James Berlin, of Noxapater; Martha Jean Kareff of Cleveland, Ohio; and a brother, Danny Yarbrough and wife, Cindy, of Meridian, Mississippi. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, E. C. White; her daughter, Vickie L. Breest; and her parents. Pallbearers will be Bay White, Danny Yarbrough, Benny Yarbrough, Lamar Yarbrough, Mark Foresman, and Hardy Waltman. Memorials may be given to First Pentecostal Church of Noxapater, 10392 Highway 15 South, Noxapater, MS 39346 or to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Services are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
