November 8, 1928 - March 24, 2013

Mr. Charles Lee, 84, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. He was born on November 8, 1928, to Eddie and Nettie Mae Lungsford Lee. Mr. Lee was a member of Middleton Methodist Church and he was a retired self-employed mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Lavada Kemp Lee of Louisville; and his sons, Greg Lee and wife, Tina, also of Louisville, and Jerome Lee of Collinsville, Mississippi. He is also survived by six sisters: Helen Rutherford, Rachel Lee, and Voncille Thrasher, all of Louisville, Dot Drewery of Noxapater, Mississippi, Shirley Bagwell of Jackson, Mississippi, and Lucille Williams of Byram, Mississippi; and his brother, Billy Lee of Decatur, Alabama. Mr. Lee has four grandchildren: Brittney Luke and husband, Shawn; Toby Lee and wife, Marcy; Madyson Lee, and Camryn Lee; and he has seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn Lee; his grandson, Dustin Lee; his parents; and his brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Lee. Arrangements are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
