Mr. Noah Palmer,

March 22, 1944 - June 18, 2012

Mr. Robert Noah Palmer, Jr., 68, of Y-City, Arkansas, died in his home on Monday, June 18, 2012, at 12:05 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012, from 12 noon until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville, Mississippi. Mr. Palmer was born on March 22, 1944. Robert was an honored Vietnam Veteran that earned a National Defense Medal. Throughout his years, he served in the Navy, the Armed Forces and he was a mountain man that knew it all. He was our Lord's blessed soldier on sacred ground. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Palmer is survived by two daughters Sunny Angel Palmer of St. Johns, Arizona; and Brittany Ann Ragsdale of Pelahatchie, Mississippi. He is also survived by one sister, Sandra Kay Ray of Marietta, Georgia; and four brothers: Timothy Howe Palmer and wife, Tina Jane; Paul Davis Palmer; Ronald Javis Palmer and wife, Phyllis, all of Louisville, Mississippi; and Anthony Gilbert Palmer and wife, Lori, of Columbus, Mississippi. Robert has five grandchildren: Garrett Scott Palmer of St. Johns, Arizona; Baley Claire Irby; Devin Jordan Ragsdale; Kylie Ann Ragsdale; and Adrian Noah Lee Ragsdale all of Pelahatchie, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Noah Palmer, Sr., and Dorothy Willie Palmer. His daughter, Sunny Angel Palmer, stayed and cared for him day and night through his last days. She gave her full heart and soul to his beginning journey into Heaven. His daughter, Brittany Ragsdale, and good friend, Barbara Harris, took care of him throughout his painful cancer treatments from August, 2011, until April, 2012. We will see you in heaven, daddy.
