Mr. Guy Sullivan "Polly" Watts, 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in Tampa, Florida. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Rev. Mike Brister and Randy Price officiating. Interment will be in Rural Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Watts was born July 15, 1927. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Lake Placid, Florida. During World Ward II, Mr. Watts served his country in the Navy and during the Korean Conflict, he served in the Air Force. He was a retired conductor with Atlantic Railroad and was a member of the Dancing Rabbit Hunting Club. Mr. Watts is survived by five sisters: Nancy Mohlenkamp of Lake Placid, Florida; Mary Lois McGaugh of Louisville, Mississippi; Margie McCluerin of Tampa, Florida; Barbara Stokes and husband, Jimmy, of Petal, Mississippi; and Betty Luke and husband, Virgil, of Pearl, Mississippi. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Pearl Sullivan Watts; his son, Guy Edwards "Eddie" Watts; two brothers, Edward Elisha "Tuck" Watts, and John Doyle Watts; and a niece, Gloria Jean Saxon. Pallbearers will be Wayne Gasson, Jimmy Spiers, Jerry Saxon, Steve Agee, Kenny Thompson, Roy Thompson, Ricky Reynolds, and Andy Watts. Memorials may be made to Rural Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Dale Shumake, 12878 Highway 14 West, McCool, MS 39108.
