December 14, 1930 - February 18, 2013

Mr. Jimmy Thomas Lee, 82, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013, at Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dempsey and Rev. Fred Frazier, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Middleton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born on December 14, 1930, Mr. Lee was a member of West End Baptist Church and he retired after 18 years with Wright's Auto Service as a mechanic. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eunice Lee of Louisville; two daughters, Donna Arrington of Roseburg, North Carolina, and Cathy McCoy of Jackson, Mississippi; and his son, David Earl Lee also of Louisville. He is also survived by six sisters: Helen Rutherford, Rachel Lee, and Voncille Thrasher, all of Louisville, Dot Drewery of Noxapater, Mississippi, Shirley Bagwell of Jackson, Mississippi, and Lucille Williams of Byram, Mississippi; and two brothers, Charles Lee of Louisville and Billy Lee of Decatur, Alabama. He has nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Gary Lee; his parents, Eddie T. and Nettie Mae Lungsford Lee; and his brother, Tommy Lee. Pallbearers will be David Earl Lee, Austin Vernon, Mike Thrasher, Derrick Hobson, Austin Goodwin, and Allen McManus. Arrangements are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
