Mrs. Peele Castle

May 24, 1926 - February 19, 2012

Mrs. Eleanor Peele Castle, 85, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Monday, February 20, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Rev. Lee Castle officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Castle was born May 24, 1926. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Louisville. She was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and was a retired caseworker for the Welfare Department. Mrs. Castle is survived by two sons: Richard Peele Castle and wife, Tammy, of Louisville, Mississippi; and Ben Edward Castle of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Summer Castle Ashmore and husband, Jonathan; and Meaux Kennedy Castle; as well as two great-grandchildren: Kennedy Alexis Castle and Dylan Peele Castle. Mrs. Castle also has a sister, Peggy Johnson of Concord, California, and a brother, David Peel, Sr., of Houston, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Landis Castle. Pallbearers will be Jeff Fulton, Shane Davis, David Wilson, Jr., David Peel, Bill Peel, Mark Peel, and Mike Peel. Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS is handling the arrangements. You may sign the guestbook at www.nowellmasseyfuneralhome.com.
