William "Hoagie" Holman III

August 16, 1971 - October 6, 2014

William Bruce “Hoagie” Holman III, 43, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Haggard and Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Holman was born on August 16, 1971, to William Bruce Holman II and Margaret Threadgill Holman. He was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church, and he was a farmer. Mr. Holman is survived by his wife, Jackie Oglesby Holman; his daughter, Lexus Holman; his mother, Margaret Holman; and three step-daughters: Jordan and Morgan Sullivan, all of Louisville; and Ericka Harper of Amory, Mississippi. He is survived by one sister, Jane Holman Parker and husband, Gerald; and by his niece, Lesley Parker; and by his nephews, Blake and Sam Parker, all of Amory. He was preceded in death by his father, William Bruce Holman II. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Leone, Ray Sims, Kevin Stanley, Robert Warner, Alan Young, and John Albert Young. Memorials may be given to the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Foundation, P. O. Box 41817, Memphis, TN 38174-1817. Services are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
